Please join us on Wednesday, March 2 from 6-7 pm when the Shaftsbury Elementary School Fourth Grade Classes present our Vermont Museum Night.
Our Vermont Museum will be set up in the Fourth Grade Wing of SES. There you will find original student artwork depicting a variety of topics important to Vermont’s history and economy. Each exhibit will also feature a multimedia presentation* created by the students in order to share what they have learned about their topic.
When you arrive for the evening presentation, we will gather in a central location (to be announced) where the students will join us and recite some poetry selections. These poems will be made up of selections written by Robert Frost, as well as, original student works. Then each family will be taken on a tour through our museum by your own personal SES Museum docent.
We look forward to seeing you on Wednesday evening and sharing with you all of the works the students have prepared. They have worked very hard on each item in the exhibits and are very proud to share their learning with you on this special evening.
* In order to view the multimedia presentation, please bring along a personal device such as a Smartphone, tablet, or an iPad. You will also need a QR Reader APP. There are free QR readers available for both Android and Apple devices.
(We will have some extra devices available for those who may need them)
**Mrs. Maguire-Jones and Mrs. Klein would like to give a special THANK YOU to Mrs. Daly, Mrs. Umphlett, Mrs. Bisaccio, Mr. Roaf, and Mr. Johnson for their support with this project.
