At Billings we were able to learn about sheep with Annie the sheep, learn about tools used on Vermont farms many years ago, churn (and taste) butter, card wool, and visit with the cows while learning about dairy farming.
At VINS we were able to see the live Raptor Show and learn about how some of the birds at VINS came to be in captivity, see the raptors being fed, explore an exhibit on the evolution of birds, take a hike on the nature trails, and even play in the "nature's playground" area before getting back on the bus.
The students were very well behaved. I was very proud of them.
Thank you to all of the parent volunteers! I hope you enjoyed the trip as much as we did!
